Position: Front End Developer
Location: Cambridge, England.

Our Client matches those with medical conditions with opportunities to contribute to research, via our unique online platform. They also provide personalised medical insights, information and recommendations. Their platform is private-by-design. They feel strongly that people should be in full control of their sensitive health data and choose who can access it.
Our clients current focus is on neurological and immune conditions (Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Long COVID amongst others).
Over the next year, they are expanding their product to be a 'patient portal' for national scale precision medicine initiatives such as Genomics England, with the goal of impacting millions of people.
As an Ideal Candidate You will be tasked with:
- Improving the user experience of the patient-engagement web platform through user-centric design and rapid iteration of new features with feedback from users.
- Implementing innovative and user-friendly functionality for visualising genomic and health data, and collecting data for research studies.
We would love to see :
- Experience with the front-end JS frameworks to create dynamic user-experiences (particularly Vue.js).
- Background in automated end-to-end testing, and a standard practice of cross browser testing.
- Knowledge of WAI accessibility criteria and experience in coding to meet at least level AA.
- Expert in the fundamentals of HTML, CSS [and variations, SCSS etc] & Javascript.
- A good understanding of visual design (making things look beautiful for screens of all sizes).
- Be a good team player with strong communication skills.
- Have a reasonable understanding of source version control (Git).
